The variety is an interspecific hybrid derived from crossing P. officinalis and P. lactiflora «President Taft». The flower is double, rose-shaped or spherical, reaching 15–17 cm in diameter. The petal color varies from a bright red-lilac to a fuchsia-lilac tone; the stamens have short red filaments.

The plant forms a compact bush 65–80 cm high with grey-green or medium-green foliage. The stems are strong, which means the bush does not require staking. The variety belongs to the extra-early flowering group; in the conditions of the middle zone, it blooms in the third ten-day period of May. The fragrance is faint, and the purpose is decorative garden landscaping.
