The plant is an evergreen climbing or trailing vine with thin stems ranging from 90 to 180 cm in length. The leaves are palmately compound, consisting of 3–5 leaflets; young ones have a bright green hue, becoming dark green, leathery, and glossy with age. Small, harmless granules resembling sugar may appear on the underside of the leaves.
Used exclusively as an ornamental houseplant for cultivation in pots, planters, or hanging baskets. The plant requires stable temperatures preferably above 15°C, bright indirect light, and moderate watering.
