The timber of this hybrid is straight, even, light, and strong, possessing high resistance to atmospheric conditions and a low resin content. Due to its properties, the material is in demand in construction, insulation production, and bioethanol production.

The plant has a high growth rate: five years after planting, the trunk diameter can reach about 70 cm. Breeding of the hybrid is aimed at increasing resistance to diseases, including various types of rot and mold.
