The plant is distinguished by a stocky, compact habit and good branching ability. The flowers are large, reaching 5–6 cm in diameter, and have a double structure. In appearance, the inflorescences are compared to the shape of ranunculus, peonies, or old English roses.

The variety possesses high ornamental value and a long flowering period. Young specimens may demonstrate a tendency to drop some buds until sufficient vegetative mass is gained.
