Variety description

The plant has a compact shape and an upright growth habit. The variety is grown for the ornamental quality of its blooms and foliage; leaf margins are serrated and eroded in shape.
Flowers are double or semi-double, gathered in dense inflorescences. Petal coloration is manganese-crimson or lilac-crimson, sometimes with a purple hue. A white eye and characteristic crimson veining may be present at the base of the petals.
