The main distinctive feature of the variety is the very dark chocolate-purple foliage with a narrow contrasting emerald-green margin along the edge. The flowers are single, bright pink, often with a lighter whitish center. The plant is vigorously growing, bushy, and forms a neat bush 0.5 to 0.7 m in height.

The variety is characterized as heat-tolerant. It is used for container landscaping, hanging baskets, planters, as well as for creating borders and decorating flower beds in the open field. The decorative quality of the foliage is maintained throughout the entire growing season.
