The 'Brookside Bolero' variety is a miniature zonal pelargonium. The plant is characterized by a compact habit, a stocky upright bush with good branching and a slow growth rate. The height of a one-year-old specimen reaches about 15 cm. The leaves are dark green, medium-sized, with a pronounced zone or without a clear zonal ring. The flowers are double, colored in pastel pink, sometimes with a more saturated shade in the center.
Other varieties under the name "Bolero" are found in literature. The Unique group includes an evergreen shrub up to 0.5 m high with simple pink flowers decorated with dark red spots. The Angel group includes the 'Berkswell Bolero' variety, characterized by compact growth and lilac-pink flowers with a burgundy spot. There are also other commercial varieties and hybrids of Russian breeding with similar names.
