The plant has an upright, spreading habit. The leaves are rounded, palmate, with a brown pattern characteristic of zonal pelargoniums. Salmon-colored flowers are gathered in dense inflorescences; flowering continues from late spring to autumn.
The variety is perennial, but in temperate climates it is grown as an annual plant. It is well adapted to urban conditions, requires a sunny location and moderately moist, well-drained soil. There is an improved version of the variety, Designer Salmon Improved, with more intense coloration.
