The plant is characterized by a strongly branching growth habit and reaches a height of 30–35 cm. The inflorescences have an umbellate shape and reach 10–12 cm in diameter.

In temperate climates, it is grown as an annual crop with a flowering period from June to October. The plant is drought-tolerant and prefers fertile, moist soils. Its main purpose is landscaping for borders, balconies, and container gardening.
