The variety was obtained in 2001 as a result of controlled pollination of two unidentified parent forms of Pelargonium zonale. In 2003, a seedling was selected, which was subsequently propagated by cuttings. The commercial name of the variety is Fidelity XL Lavender Pink with Blotch.
The plant is intended for ornamental use. Key features include a specific type of branching, quality and uniformity of flower coloration. The flowers have pink-blue shades, a white zone at the base of the petals and noticeable blotches. Resistance to grey mold Botrytis cinerea is claimed.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
