The variety Achspen (Laced Red Mini Cascade) is an ivy-leaved pelargonium with simple red flowers and variegated foliage. The plant is characterized by a compact habit, reaching a height and width of 0.1 to 0.5 m.

The variety is intended for cultivation in containers and hanging baskets, prefers full sun and well-drained fertile soils. When infected with pelargonium virus, a change in habit towards greater stunting and branching may be observed, as well as an increase in cutting yield.
