The plant reaches 15–20 cm in height; during flowering, the height increases to 30 cm due to the flower stalks. The leaves have a corrugated surface and are colored dark burgundy-red on top and bright brick-red on the underside. The plant forms narrow spike-like inflorescences of cream or greenish-white color.
The variety is intended for interior landscaping and is grown in pots, containers, and terrariums. It prefers bright diffused light and is sensitive to direct sunlight and soil waterlogging. It is a product of horticultural breeding and genetically belongs to the species Peperomia caperata.
