The plant forms a compact clump and is significantly smaller than other cultivars of the species Persicaria microcephala. The leaves have olive margins, a large dark brown basal pattern in the center, and a silvery V-shaped design over it.
The cultivar is described as more winter-hardy compared to the Red Dragon cultivar. Depending on the growing zone, it may exhibit properties of a deciduous or evergreen perennial. In landscape design, it is used for flower beds and borders, and attracts bees.
