The variety was obtained by genetic engineering from the Phalaenopsis Wedding Promenade cultivar. To change the color of the petals, the F3'5'H gene, isolated from Commelina communis, was introduced into the plant genome.
The key morphological feature is the dark purple color of the flowers. The phenotype of the variety can change significantly under the influence of environmental factors, such as temperature and light intensity.
Propagation is carried out by an aseptic method in tissue culture through the induction of protocorm-like bodies from the axillary buds of flower stalks on hormonal nutrient media.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
