The plant reaches a height of 40–50 cm. Lanceolate-shaped leaves are 15–20 cm long and 5–7.5 cm wide. The variety usually forms two flower stalks 20–25 cm long.

Flowers are reddish-purple in color, with a darker lip and lighter edges of petals and sepals. The plant is characterized by sturdy leaves and flower stalks, as well as good flower longevity after sale.
