The mature plant reaches a height of 30–40 cm. The leaves are dark green, lanceolate in shape, 20–25 cm long and 5–7.5 cm wide.

The flower diameter is 8.5–9 cm. The primary petal color varies from purple to a medium-violet shade; the lip has a similar tone with splashes of red and white. Complex patterns in the form of spots, flecks, and a feather-like design are present on the surface of the flowers.

There are mentions of this variety belonging to the 'trilips' or 'peloric' type, which may indicate a genetic predisposition to flower shape mutations or the existence of various clonal variations, although this is not a universally accepted standard.
