The variety is characterized by compact size, which allows it to be placed on narrow windowsills, and is typically sold in 9-cm pots. The plant's foliage is evergreen.

The plant is of the epiphytic type; a bark-based substrate is recommended for cultivation, providing conditions for free aerial roots. The temperature regime requires a temperature not lower than 15°C throughout the year.

The variety is generally resistant to diseases, but may be subject to infestation by aphids, spider mites, and mealybugs.
