The flowers of the variety have a dark red coloration with a thin light purple border along the petal edges and a red-purple labellum. In side view, the flowers are flat.

The dorsal sepal is characterized by a reflexed longitudinal axis, the lateral lobes of the labellum have a medium degree of curvature. The variety is propagated by meristem culture.
