The flowers of the variety have a reddish-purple color with stripes, light edges of the petals, and a dark purple-red lip. In lateral cross-section, the flowers are concave; the inflorescence is a panicle.

The plant is propagated by the meristem method and is intended for use in ornamental horticulture as a pot crop.
