The Cupid Spirit variety is a decorative houseplant. Commercial offers for this group of varieties usually indicate a height of about 40–45 centimeters, including the pot. The plants are grown using in vitro tissue culture and undergo virus-free certification.

In the consumer market, the name Spirit is often used as a trade name for a group of plants with common external features that are not a single variety. The name Spirit is also found in other Phalaenopsis hybrids, such as Miki Spirit '94', which is distinguished by a peloric form.
