The hybrid Phal. I-Hsin Venus 'Sunkissed' is the result of crossing Dragon's Gold and I-Hsin Viola Tris. The plant's genetics are dominated by species of the Polychilos group, such as Phal. amboinensis, Phal. equestris, Phal. venosa, and Phal. violacea.

The plant reaches a height of about 40 cm. The flower stalks are of an intermediate type and grow vertically. The hybrid's flowers have a pronounced spicy-sweet fragrance. Outside the context of this hybrid, the name is used in the floral trade to designate other plants, including intergeneric hybrids.
