The variety is winter-active and has the ability to form a broad root crown with daughter shoots, which contributes to the longevity of the plant. It is intended for the establishment of highly productive pastures in regions with a temperate climate and an annual rainfall of 500–700 mm.
The plant has high resistance to intensive grazing and tolerates winter waterlogging. Compared to older varieties, it has a reduced alkaloid content, which lowers the risk of neurological diseases in livestock. The variety is also characterized by improved seed retention at maturity, which facilitates harvesting.
