The variety is intended for use as a forage crop. During trials in Mediterranean conditions, the variety demonstrated high biomass yield potential, reaching about 13 t/ha in the first year of research, as well as seed yield.
The plant has a high leaf weight ratio. The variety is characterized by low transpiration and photosynthesis intensity under water stress, however, it demonstrates vulnerability to extreme summer drought, which limits its endurance in conditions of severe summer stagnation.
