Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is the result of a breeding program to cross runner bean with common bean to improve pod set under adverse weather conditions. The plant is climbing, reaches a height of about 3 meters, and blooms with orange-red flowers.

The variety is self-fertile, which allows it to form pods under conditions in which ordinary varieties may drop their flowers. The maturation period to technical ripeness is 65–75 days.

The plant forms smooth and fleshy pods without strings, 25–30 cm in length. The variety is better adapted to temperature fluctuations and weather stress compared to traditional runner bean varieties.

The variety is intended for the production of green snap beans and is suitable for both professional and amateur gardening.
