Variety description

10 August 2026

This group of beans was formed as a result of long-term folk selection and natural selection. It is characterized by small or medium-sized seeds having specific purple or brown spots on the surface.

Plants of this group are most often classified as bush genotypes. Scientific studies include the assessment of their drought tolerance, interaction with soil rhizobia, and monitoring of resistance to viruses such as bean common mosaic virus.

This type is a grain bean intended for human consumption and represents an object of genetic resource conservation within the framework of the work of the NEIKER institute.
