The plant is a bush form of bean, 40–45 cm in height. The variety is early-maturing; the vegetation period from sowing to ripening is 55 to 70 days. The crop is characterized by good lodging resistance.
The pods are straight, 12–14 cm long, with a dark purple exterior color and green flesh. The variety belongs to the snap bean type; the pods are tender, fiberless, and have a sweetish taste. The plant possesses high resistance to bean common mosaic virus.
The variety is intended for fresh consumption, culinary use, and processing. Due to the decorative appearance of the pods and pink-lilac flowers, it is also used in amateur gardening.
