The variety belongs to the Great Northern market class and has an indeterminate growth type III, sometimes classified as IIIb or IIb. The bean is characterized by mid-season maturity and high yield of white-colored seeds, suitable for narrow-row cultivation systems.

The plant possesses resistance to Bean Common Mosaic Virus due to the presence of "I" genes and shows tolerance to white mold. The genetic background of the variety includes germplasm elements from the Aurora variety, including Ur-3 resistance genes.
