The variety belongs to the grain bean group. It possesses pronounced resistance to anthracnose, conditioned by the presence of two genes in the Co-2 locus. The variety also exhibits race-specific resistance to all bean rust pathotypes identified within the territory of Bulgaria.
In scientific literature, the variety is mentioned in the context of research on reactions to bacterial diseases and the influence of agrotechnical factors, such as seeding rates and the application of nitrogen fertilizers, on seed yield.
