The bush variety Cascade is a plant with dark green pods, round in cross-section and approximately 14 cm long. The variety is intended for mechanical harvesting, is characterized by a low fiber content in the pods, and possesses resistance to Bean common mosaic virus.

The climbing bean Cascade Giant has long (25–28 cm) thin stringless pods with purple-scarlet stripes. A feature of the variety is the slowed growth of side shoots, which contributes to the concentration of the harvest in the lower part of the plant.
