The Clarion variety is a vigorous bush plant of an upright type, reaching a height of about 50 cm. The pods have a moderately green color, straight shape, a length of 11–12 cm, and a diameter of about 9 mm.

The plant is resistant to diseases and is suitable for harvesting operations. The produce is suitable for sale in the fresh market, as well as for industrial processing, including freezing and canning, due to good transportability and the ability to maintain market quality.
