Compass is a bush bean with a plant height of 40–50 cm. The variety produces straight dark green pods 12–14 cm long and 6.5–8 mm thick. The vegetation period is approximately 71 days.

The plant has a robust structure and an upright habit, which simplifies harvesting. The variety exhibits high resistance to anthracnose, bean common mosaic virus, and bacteriosis. The pods are for universal use, including fresh consumption and industrial processing.
