Concesa is an open-pollinated bush bean variety with high initial growth vigor and the ability for intensive fruit set. The pods have a bean caliber of 3–4 and are characterized by low fiber content.

The plants exhibit resistance to Bean common mosaic virus (BCMV), Beet curly top virus, and certain races of bean rust (38, 53, 72), but are susceptible to Bean golden yellow mosaic virus (BGYMV). The variety is used for the fresh market and agronomic research.
