The Cuban variety Cuba Cueto 25-9 is characterized by a determinate growth type and black seed color. It is distinguished by high earliness and the ability to adapt to stressful growing conditions, including heat stress.

The Spanish variety Cueto, also known as Cueto blanco, is a traditional landrace from the Castile and León region. It possesses white, kidney-shaped seeds and is widely used as source genetic material for the development of new bean varieties.
