The plant is of the indeterminate type, requires support, and is characterized by high yield. The pods are long and thin in shape with a diameter of about 1 cm, colored white with reddish streaks. Each pod usually contains from 6 to 7 medium-small, oval-shaped seeds.
Upon ripening, the seeds change color from light to beige or light brown with red-garnet streaks. The growing season is about 90 days. The variety is traditionally adapted to local conditions; historically, it was cultivated together with corn as a support.
