The variety was obtained by individual selection from local populations of Galician origin. The plant is characterized by a low growth type and early maturity: flowering occurs 40 days after sowing. The yield is about 1500 kg/ha.

The seed is medium to small in size, the weight of 100 seeds is about 40 grams. The shape of the seed is oblong, the color changes from light green when immature to white at full maturity. Resistance to diseases is assessed as medium.

The product is intended for use as tender seeds, for which the beans are harvested immature and dried in a place protected from light. The variety has high culinary qualities and is traditionally used for preparing dishes with seafood.
