The variety is an open-pollinated plant of the determinate type, 30 to 60 cm in height. Technical maturity occurs 55–60 days after sowing. The pods reach a length of 10–15 cm; during culinary processing, the purple pigment disappears, and the pods turn yellow.

The plant is characterized by vigorous growth and compactness; it is suitable for cultivation in the open field and in containers. Young pods lack a parchment layer and fibers and possess juicy, sweetish flesh. Upon full ripening on the bush, the variety is suitable for harvesting mature grain.
