Dusky is a bush variety of snap bean. The plant forms a large upright bush with good foliage, reaching a height of 30–60 cm. The pods have a dark green color, are distinguished by a uniform smooth shape, and are held by the bush above the soil surface.

The variety is mid-season, the ripening period is from 51 to 60 days. The plant has resistance to a wide range of diseases. In addition to use as a vegetable crop, the variety is used in breeding work as a parent form for creating new bean varieties.
