10 August 2026
The variety is a bush type originating from Lower Austria. The plant is characterized by prolonged fruiting, allowing for harvest from July to September. In technical maturity, the pods are green, reach 19 cm in length, and are noted for the absence of fibers; as they ripen, the pods lighten and the seeds turn black.
Cultivation techniques include direct sowing into the soil from the beginning of May to June at a depth of about 3 cm. The recommended planting pattern is 10 cm between plants and 30 cm between rows; sowing in holes of 3 seeds each is also acceptable. The crop is heat-loving, prefers sunny areas, and requires hilling to prevent lodging.
