The variety is a bush plant. Its pods are characterized by significant length, reaching 30 cm; they are thick, fleshy, and fiberless. The variety is traditionally used as green snap beans.

In scientific practice, the variety is used as an indicator plant for studying viral diseases, in particular, mosaic virus. It is also used as source material in breeding for the development of new varieties adapted to local growing conditions.
