The Majestic variety is an open-pollinated bush bean, also known by the experimental number Wax 72225. The fruits of the variety are characterized by straight pods of golden color. An important feature is the slow development of seeds and the absence of coarse fibers, which allows for the long-term preservation of consumer qualities.
The plant possesses resistance to common bean mosaic virus and high tolerance to the New York 15 strain. Research shows the variety's sensitivity to the effects of high temperatures, which can lead to abortion of reproductive organs and flower drop.
