The Melinda variety belongs to bush beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L. var. nanus). The plant forms yellow-colored pods, characterized by their content of proteins, vitamins A and E.

The variety is thermophilic and requires a sunny location for cultivation. It is recommended to sow seeds in open ground, 3–4 seeds per planting hole. The variety is used in scientific research on genetic diversity and the study of viruses in bean germplasm.
