The variety is a bush plant with an early maturity period. The pods are fleshy, 10–15 cm long, and green in color with purple streaks, which disappear after heat treatment. The seeds are brown with dark stripes or white with spots.
The plant belongs to the mangetout type, which ensures a delicate, buttery texture of the pods without fibers. The variety is productive but sensitive to high temperatures, making it optimal for spring cultivation or late summer sowing. It is also known by the synonym Bobis d'Asti.
