The variety possesses high resistance to anthracnose caused by the pathogen Colletotrichum lindemuthianum, showing immunity to 10 out of 11 tested physiological races, including race 81, which is common in Bulgaria. Resistance is controlled by an allele at the Co-1 locus.

The plant is characterized by physiological resistance to white mold Sclerotinia sclerotiorum. The variety belongs to the dry bean group and is intended for food use.
