Growth type is climbing; the plant is vigorous and fast-growing, requiring support at least 2 meters high. Pods are crescent or post-horn shaped, 12–15 cm long. The fruit is yellow and fiberless at a young age.
Seeds have a black-violet color with speckles. The variety is heat-loving and prefers sunny locations for cultivation. It is used primarily as a vegetable bean for fresh consumption, as well as for creating decorative green screens.
