The variety is a vigorous open-pollinated pole plant. The ripening period is approximately 65–67 days. There are variations of the variety with black and white seeds.
The plant produces slightly curved stringless pods about 16–17 cm long. Historical literature noted the variety's resistance to bean common mosaic virus and certain types of rust.
