The variety is a low-growing plant. In technical maturity, the pods are dark green, which changes to lemon-yellow as they ripen. The length of one pod is from 7 to 10 cm, containing 4 to 6 grains inside.
The grains are characterized by a light, beige color with a brownish marbled pattern. This variety is a local traditional plant originating from the Ribnica region in Slovenia and is used in national cuisine.
