The plant is of the climbing type, reaches a height of 180–190 cm, and requires the use of supports. The variety is early-ripening and is characterized by high yield.
The dark green pods are 12–14 cm long, have a round shape and a fleshy structure. An important distinctive feature is the absence of fibers (parchment layer) in them. The bean seeds are white in color.
The variety is intended for fresh consumption, culinary processing, and freezing. It is studied as part of local Italian landraces and is often found in the catalogs of seed companies.
