The Soissy variety is a bush bean approximately 45 cm in height, intended for grain production. The plant produces wide, long, cream-colored pods that turn yellow upon ripening and are easy to shell.
The seeds are characterized by a kidney shape, white color, and thin skin. The harvest is suitable for use at the fresh, semi-dry, and dry seed stages.
The variety is early-maturing and possesses high resistance to Bean common mosaic virus. The plant is described as hardy; however, it is sensitive to frost.
