The variety forms red pods 18–22 cm long. The grains have the typical shape and coloration of the "borlotto" type: a cream background with red or purple streaks. Each pod contains an average of 8–9 seeds.
The plant is suitable for cultivation in open field and greenhouses. It possesses high resistance to Bean common mosaic virus and good transportability after harvest. The variety is intended for culinary use, in particular for preparing soups.
