The variety is of the bush type, has a compact upright habit, although it sometimes forms runners. The pods reach a length of 17–20 cm, changing color from green to variegated with a combination of red, cream, and yellow shades during ripening. The seeds are colored in beige-burgundy tones.
The ripening period is from 68 to 80 days. The variety is universal: at the milky-wax stage of maturity, the seeds have a buttery taste reminiscent of lima beans. The crop is well adapted to temperate climates and is capable of setting fruit in hot weather conditions.
